Pursuing the Poet's quest for a fusion of words and forms, the Musician adds to it that of sounds : in homage to Jean-Louis and Marie Trintignant, the Quatuor Parisii entrusts Appolinaire's Poèmes à Lou to the care of Emmanuelle Devos and Jean-Pierre Lorit and summons Schumann's Quartets op.41 by Schumann - Schumann's career bears strong similarities to that of Apollinaire, both occupying a singular place in the artistic environment of their time while appearing to be devoted, on a personal level, to impossible loves.
